Should I recommend my clients use a gentle grooming shampoo prior to applying medicated shampoo?

A gentle grooming shampoo is a great option to use before a medicated shampoo. Your client may wish to clean the skin and coat prior to applying the medicated shampoo so the medication will have more contact with clean skin.
